Wooling
Wooling or sometimes called 'Slivering' is the effect of incorrect Op spacing. The cause can vary, but most often is due to Op 1 being set too high up and slicing the finished seam. We can also see this when the Op rollers are worn, normally from being crashed into the chuck.
Order of Operations:
Check that the 1st Operation Seaming groove profile isn't set too high over Seaming Chuck. If so, adjust 1st Operation Seaming Roll groove profile down.
Check spring integrity at cam follower bearings riding along the side of the cam plate.
Check Pin Height and compare to your can spec sheet.
